Songwriting in Ireland

I recently traveled to County Limerick to spend time with my beloved cousin Liam McCarthy. He’s a fantastic guitarist and performer.

We wasted no time in getting down to the business of playing guitars. Before my suitcase had even hit the floor Liam had shepherded me into his car and driven me off to perform at two separate gigs with him.

In just a few short days I played at least three gigs and saw him play with his own band in Limerick city.

The highlight for me was spending time songwriting at Liam’s home. We worked on a bunch of tracks and took two into a recording studio in Limerick City.
