I was invited to open at Manuden Festival 2013, I hadn’t heard of the festival until stumbling across it online. I’m glad I did because it was a great event. The organisers really know their stuff and the stage set up was brilliant. Having the audience facing the same way all day with 2 stages at a slight angle to one another so that when one band is on stage performing the next is setting up. This allowed continuous music all day and a guaranteed audience for each act, also the audience never felt like they had missed anything. I hope I get an invite back for next year and a later slot in the day. The audience really cared about music and I spent a lot of time talking with people after my performance. Great stuff, and next year we will be back with friends.
