Last Saturday I was invited to play a live session at one of the few independent record stores left in this part of the world – Empire Records, in St Albans. It was great to meet passionate music lover and store owner Derek who sells a mix of tape, CD and vinyl. The later is very much coming back into fashion, which is good news.
Chris Godfrey accompanied me on acoustic guitar and we had a good crowd in the store. Among the audience I spotted Bill who runs the Blue Angel Acoustic Cafe at The Horn in St Albans. He’s invited us for a spot in the new year which we look forward to!
