We saw all kinds of wildlife today including Wolves, Moose, Foxes, Mountain Sheep, Bald Eagles, Elk and Deer. Oh yea and massive bloody Bison like this one that was about 15 foot away from me. These animals are responsible for more deaths and injuries to humans than any other in the park. Not surprising when you consider that they can weight up to a Ton, run 35 miles an hour, are excellent sprinters, and can jump 6 feet in the air from standstill!
We used our snowmobiles as a shield and hoped for the best, luckily this beast just walked on past after looking at me for a few seconds then thinking better of it! Yea! ha
